Every transfer of $BUTT69 pays a 3% transfer tax. It's built into the token itself (a Token-2022 transfer-fee extension), so it applies on every venue, not just one pool. Selling is the work.
Holders validate.
No staking, no claiming, no lock. Hold $BUTT69 in a self-custody wallet and you're eligible. The reward pot is split across eligible balances pro-rata when a cycle runs.
Emissions in TAO.
StonkFun harvests the withheld tax, converts it to the pair's quote asset (TAO on Solana) and pays it out to holders. 95% of the tax goes to holders; 5% goes to the platform's flywheel.
Same mechanism as $BUTT. Buttnet 69 is a token launched on the same StonkFun reward model, paired against the same TAO. It is "built on Buttensor" in the sense that it copies it, on purpose, and says so. Nobody's team is involved but ours.
The TAO you receive is the canonical Wormhole/Sunrise TAO on Solana, mint . Anything else calling itself TAO on Solana is not the one this pairs with.

The dev buy was made as the pool's first trade at launch, in the same bundle that opened the pool. It receives the same 3% tax distributions as any other holder and pays the same 3% on any transfer.

When do I get paid?
Continuously, when the platform runs a reward cycle. Look for incoming TAO transfers in your wallet history. Amounts depend on how much $BUTT69 was transferred during the cycle and your share of eligible balances. Very small balances can round to nothing.
Where does the TAO come from?
From other people transferring $BUTT69. A transfer tax is a cost on transfers, not a return on holding. If trading slows, payouts slow. That's the mechanism, not a bug.
Is this affiliated with Bittensor, Buttensor or StonkFun?
No. Not with Bittensor or the Opentensor Foundation, not with the people who launched $BUTT, not with StonkFun. It uses StonkFun's public launch model, that's all.
Is there a treasury, a roadmap, a team allocation?

How do I check a payout is real?
Open the incoming transfer in your wallet's history, confirm the mint is the TAO mint shown above, and match the sender against the platform's distribution records on StonkFun. A "Received" label alone proves nothing.
Why 69?
Subnet 69 on Bittensor is Herald, which "only pays for genuine media coverage." Buttnet 69 only pays for genuine holding. Also, it's 69.
